Will I be required to sign for my delivery?
Yes, all orders are sent via services that require a signature at time of delivery. We recommend that delivery is made to an address where either you or someone on your behalf will be available to sign for the goods, maybe a work address. (also see our What if I am out when you deliver? question below)
What time do you deliver?
Delivery times depend on the courier we use.
Royal Mail deliveries are made any time during business hours, though usually mornings. Royal Mail do deliver some services on a Saturday morning too.
Courier deliveries are made business day Monday-Friday between 8am - 6pm, though at busy times of year we know that couriers sometimes deliver outside of these times.
Can you deliver on a Saturday?
Yes we can, but you won't want to pay what we are charged for doing so! Couriers charge a premium for making Saturday deliveries and in our experience they tend to be late or go wrong too. As such we do not make this an option on our website, if you really need a Saturday delivery please call us. The average Saturday delivery charge is £25.00.
What if I am out when you deliver?
The delivery driver might try and ask a neighbour to sign for your delivery. If they do they are supposed to leave a card to say they have left it next door, sorry but from experience some drivers skip this! If a neighbour can't take it the delivery driver should leave a card with instructions on your options for re-delivery, you can then deal directly with the delivery company.
I know I am going to be out, can you leave my order somewhere?
Firstly don't forget you can have your order delivered to your place of work.
It is possible to instruct us to leave your delivery in a safe place or with a neighbour. This instruction should be entered into the Special Instructions box during check-out.
Example of special instructions:
Please try neighbour.
Please leave in porch/garage/in back garden.
Please be aware that if you do give us instructions for your parcel to be left without a signature you accept full responsibility for missing, stolen or weather damaged items and you will not be able to claim for undelivered goods.
How do I have my order delivered to more than one address?
Please place separate orders for each delivery address. A separate delivery charge will apply to each order and special offers are applied on a per order basis.
Can I request you deliver on a certain day?
Yes this is fine, either enter a note stating what day in the special instructions during checkout or place your order and then email or call us to discuss when you want to receive your delivery. Depending on stock availability we will do our best to accommodate any requests for a specific delivery day.
Do you deliver outside of the UK?
Our standard advertised deliveries are to UK mainland addresses only, we can however delivery to the channel Islands and Ireland. The costs of this will differ from that shown and when you enter your details at the checkout it will show you the new delivery costs. We do not deliver anywhere further than that.
